Seed, Time, Harvest

I love how the world speaks to us if we are willing to look. Everything holds a deeper lesson.
Recently, I was walking through my mom’s backyard, stepping into a space she completely transformed. When you look around her garden right now, the sheer volume of life is incredible. She has everything growing back there—fruits and berries, squash and zucchini, beans, greens, potatoes, tomatoes... you name it! lol It is a literal masterclass in abundance.
But it didn’t just appear. It followed an ancient, undeniable blueprint of reciprocity: Seed. Time. Harvest.
1. The Seed (The Vision)
Every single thing growing in that yard started as a seed. But even before the physical seed touched the dirt, it started somewhere else: a thought. It began as a vision of what could be. In business, in creativity, and in life, your vision is your seed. It’s the raw potential.
2. The Time (The Process)
This is where the real work happens—the part most people skip past. My mom didn’t just wish for a garden; she built the raised boxes, engineered the soil, mapped out the layout, planted the seeds, and nurtured them daily. She managed the variables, watered the dirt when nothing was visible, and mastered the technical details of the process. Time isn't just waiting; it's execution. It is the discipline of showing up for your vision before the results exist.
3. The Harvest (The Return)
Because she respected the process, she gets to enjoy the return. Now, she’s making custom jams, fresh salsas (FIRE, by the way), and full, intentional meals straight from the labor of her hands. The harvest is beautiful, but it is strictly a byproduct of the energy invested during the "time" phase.
A Quick Side Note: You are going to hear me say this often, so keep it in your back pocket: How you do anything is how you do everything. The same discipline my mom uses to cultivate life from the dirt is the same discipline required to build an empire, refine a craft, or elevate a brand. You cannot cheat the soil, and you cannot cheat the process.
If you want a premium harvest, you have to be willing to master the time.
What seeds are you planting today?
I’m planting the seed of discipline. This post is definitely a confirmation. Consistency. Consistency. Consistency.
